We are now seeing the underbelly of that phenomenon -- what happens when we have a not-so-benevolent dictator (and to be honest, Trump is more an embarrassment than a threat. I believe he will prove too stupid and reckless to survive the next three years but a loud warning shot has been fired and the blueprint is there for an authoritarian wolf in a populist sheep's clothing). But we are at that dangerous crossroads because our congress has made a mockery of itself for decades now and the people don't seem to have much faith in democracy -- they want results. That is indeed dangerous and I want to thank you for honestly channeling your frustrations because it helps understand the gravity of the situation. .
